A former journalist, Jane Jordan brings more than twenty five years' experience in communication to the Media Skills Network.

Throughout her career, Jane has worked at the highest level in strategic planning and communication including the NSW bicentennial celebrations, Sydney Harbour Tunnel tender, the Australian cotton industry, Y2K planning and testing for several high profile IT companies and most recently the Sydney Olympic Games. And for her clients, Jane has developed a unique methodology in training and testing for crisis management.

She, like all the members of the Network, has formal qualifications in adult learning and is a trained trainer. Her speciality is crisis and issues media management. She co-founded Media Skills with Susan Templeman after a long and successful career in pubic relations. A strong strategist, Jane excels in high-stakes situations.

She is frequently sought as a guest speaker, both within Australia and overseas, as well as teaching at masters level for the University of Technology, Sydney and in the professional development courses for public relations peak body, the Public Relations Institute of Australia (PRIA).
